Allergy April favorites 2017

Hello! Welcome to our first ever monthly allergy favourites list. My real favourite thing this month has been all the sunshine we’ve been having! The longer days have been welcomed and have meant that we can finally have some al fresco dining in London.

Please note there are no affiliate links contained within this blog post and we are in no way connected to the products listed below, we just love them and want to share the love with the allergy community.

So let’s get started!

Get Buzzing Bars

Suitable for nut allergies, gluten allergies and vegetarians

So the first product I’m going to share with you is the 100% nut free Get Buzzing Bars. My favourites are the Banana Flapjacks. The factory that produces the bars is nut free, so there is nothing to worry about! The bars are also gluten free and contain zero additives, preservatives or colourings so are super healthy. They are suitable for vegetarians but do contain butter.

You can buy the bars in Holland & Barrett, Waitrose, Boots and David Lloyd gyms as well as online.

Doves Farm Organic Brown Rice Penne

Suitable for gluten allergies, vegans, vegetarians

This brown rice pasta tastes so good! It’s much quicker to make than normal pasta as it only takes around six mins to cook to al dente. It contains one ingredient, organic brown rice flour, so there are no nasties at all!

You can buy the pasta online and from a range of specialists stockists such as Planet Organic

Rude Health Coconut Drink

Suitable for gluten and nut allergies.

Rude health offers a great alternative to cows milk. Beyond the taste, one of my favourite things is the fact that you can store it for a long time, so you’ll never run out of a milk alternative for your morning coffee or tea.

Although it doesn’t say suitable for nut allergies, my boyfriend has a severe nut allergy and has never had issues with this drink.

You can buy Rude Health in Waitrose, Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s

Free From Festival 2017

We’re heading to have a look around the Free From Festival on the 29th of May, Monday Bank Holiday and we can’t wait! It’s in East London, Spitalfields Market which is a lovely venue and will feature a lot of local businesses from Hackney & Islington.

The event will focus on people who are free from gluten, sugar or dairy. There will be lots of products, cookery demonstrations and live music. I can’t wait to try out all the snacks!

Dream item! Stella McCartney

I love Stella McCartney’s items, and they are all vegan! The Falabella bag is so beautiful and makes a great gift for any fashionable vegans in your life.
